Just wanted to send a wee email to thank you for a wonderful Karting event on Saturday! Thank you so much for your organisation and patience with my constant phone calls! It was a fantastic event, despite my coming spectacularly last! It is a hard thing to satisfy so many people of varying ages and capability, but you and the team managed! So many many thanks!
Just a note to say many thanks for an excellent Karting experience with my 3 other friends yesterday. The organisation and helpfulness of the operator was excellent and very well done. We all had a fab time and are thinking of making it an annual occasion. This one was for my stag party so a bit of a sore head today! I bought a bike in July so looking forward to a track day next year too. Please pass on my thanks to the marshals and the guy who kept us all straight – safety tips included for my friend

Q. How quickly do I need to book?
A. During the winter months you will be able to book at much shorter notice. For weekend group events we recommend you book approx 2-3 weeks in advance. There may be availability at shorter notice you need to just check with our booking team. Midweek dates generally have availability daily so please just call our booking team on 01383 720044.
Q. How much notice do I have to give if I need to cancel my karting event or move the date?
A. Once you have booked your date you would lose your 50% deposit if you cancelled your booking. If you need to move your booking we would require 14 days notice in order to move your booking to another date, without charge.
Q. When do I need to pay the balance of my karting booking?
A. You would be required to pay the balance in full on or before the day of your karting event. All invoices MUST be paid in full on or before the date of your event.
Q. Is the event exclusive to my kart group?
A. All group events (excl Sprint Race) are non exclusive unless booking 30 people or more. Your booking will not necessarily include other groups, this will depend on demand.
Q. Will I received confi rmation of my karting booking and a receipt for any payments made?
A. As soon as you pay your 50% non refundable deposit to secure your booking you will be sent a confi rmation letter including current numbers booked, payment and balance details as well as your credit or debit card receipt. This must be brought with you on the day of your booking.
Q. What if the weather is bad?
A. We are an outdoor venue so we do run in wet weather. We have full waterproof suits which go over the race suits provided for extra protection from the elements. If we have snow, ice, fog or weather that affects the safety of your event we will contact you at the earliest opportunity and rebook for another suitable date.
Q. Will I be entitled to a refund if my kart event is cancelled due to the weather?
A. If you cannot or do not wish to rebook into another date you would be entitled to a full refund. We will only issue a refund if Knockhill cancels due to the weather.
Q. What happens if I pick the wrong kart Event or wish to change the event once booked?
A. You can change the format of your event as long as we have availability. If you choose an event of a lesser value, you would lose the difference.
Q. How do I arrange a date and time for my kart event?
A. You can contact us by telephone 7 days a week from 9am until 6pm (5pm at weekends).
Q. Can family/friends come along to spectate?
A. Yes, the more the merrier. There are indoor and outdoor viewing area’s with vending machines for hot beverages, cold drinks and snacks.
Q. How early should I arrive at Knockhill Karting Centre?
A. If you can report to the karting centre approximately 15 mins before your event.
Q. Is there an age restriction?
A. For the Endurance Karting Event drivers must be over 16 years.
Q. Is there a height/weight restriction?
A. There are no set restrictions for this experience
Q. What sort of clothes/footwear is best?
A. Dress for comfort and the outdoors i.e. Jeans and trainers. We will provide you with full race suits, helmets, gloves and neck braces as standard. Full wet suits will be provided in wet weather.

Kinnairds Resturant
Knockhill’s very own onsite restaurant is centrally located right next to the karting centre, and is open for customers to just walk in for a wide variety of meals and snacks. Even if it’s just a coffee, Kinnairds provides a warm, comfortable central point for meeting friends or just relaxing before or after your karting event. The menu changes daily with a variety of options including vegetarian and on request gluten free options.
For larger karting parties we can pre-book and reserve tables so that you can enjoy your karting and know that you have lunch, dinner or snacks all organised and you will seated comfortably together. Knockhill can provide meeting facilities that can be arranged as a package along with your karting. Please call our friendly karting team for more information 01383 720044.
Kids box’s make a fun easy option to fi ll hungry tummies. Choose from a cold option including a choice of sandwich, juice, box of raisins, yoghurt and Pit stop car for just £3.25 or a hot option with a choice of burger or chicken and chips. Please check Kinnairds opening hours when you book your karting event as the restaurant is subject to seasonal hours.
Disabled Access & Baby Changing Facilities
Knockhill Racing Circuit is generally very accessible to disabled customers, parking areas and ramps are provided into all of the major buildings. Disabled toilets are in various positions onsite. Please just ask any member of staff for details or assistance, we are more than happy to help. There are baby changing
facilities in Kinnairds Restaurant which is adjacent to the Karting Centre.
Viewing Area’s
Knockhill karting has both an indoor viewing gallery and a large outdoor secure viewing area with great views of the track. Children of all ages are more than welcome to join us onsite, we just ask for parents/guardians to be with them at all times. Hot drinks and vending machines are available within the Karting Centre.
Payment Methods
Knockhill Racing Circuit, Knockhill Karting Centre and Kinnairds Restaurant accept cash and all major credit or debit cards (including AMEX & American Express). We do not have a cashline facility onsite.
